Shippensburg Senior Portrait Photographer: Logan

Soccer and pole vaulting?   A cool old rusty bridge out in the country?  Yes, please!  Meet Logan– he’s mellow and could probably make anyone feel comfortable just being around him.  He also has a fiercely athletic side as well– when I was asking him to show me some of his soccer abilities, pole vaulting, etc (even with an injury) I was nothing short of impressed.  Logan I wish you all the best in your future endeavors!!

He’s also very tall, I tried to capture that a little here ^

Now for the pole vault– even though he isn’t running yet, you can already kind of see that drive/spark I was talking about. 🙂

I had the concept for the shot below before actually arriving in person– the big difference in person is that, well, when you are lying belly-up on a  mat and someone who is a great deal bigger than you is running at you with a  12+ foot pole then hovering above you, well you feel a little differently.  That being said, after I watched him jump a few times and took a bit of a leap myself, I think it was worth it. 🙂
