While I primarily post weddings and portraits on my blog I also shoot a fair amount of corporate photography as well. Oftentimes the corporation reserves the copyright, so I do not post the images on my blog, but I have worked for large cooperate entities (Hershey, Volvo, etc) and local entities (politicians, small businesses) and creative shoots like a band’s album cover and a runway fashion show.
When Volvo Construction Equipment invested $100 million in their North American headquarters, they hired me to capture their grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony. My photography illustrated the 4 page article “$100 million North American investment comes to life” in the latest issue of Spirit Magazine (spirit issue 47)– Spirit is distributed around the globe in more than 10 languages!
I spent my day trekking the Volvo CE campus, from touring the LEED certified production facility to hovering above over 1000 people from a hydraulic lift, my day was full– I even shook hands with the Ambassador of Sweden. Here are a few more images from the event:
One of my favorite shots (below)… note the renewable packaging Volvo uses in their warehouse– love a company that “goes green”
This is me (with my “safety partner”)– hovering 30 feet above the ground in a hydraulic lift– for reference, the lights below me are parking lot lights:
I have worked with Volvo for the past couple of years starting with corporate head shots– the image below is of their land reclamation work. I appreciate the care they have for the environment and safety, a great company. I hope to continue that relationship in the future. 😉
