I visit many venues as a professional photographer and must admit, the Omni Bedford Springs Resort is one of my very favorites!
Omni Bedford Springs is a Personal Favorite
I absolutely love the Omni at Bedford Springs! This boutique venue is ideal for work (it is an incredible location to photograph!) and on a personal level, too. I have photographed several weddings and engagement sessions there (see below). I have also celebrated several occasions myself there with friends and family (birthdays, anniversaries, spa trips with friends)…
Why is Omni Bedford Springs Ideal for a Wedding?
1. Location, location, location
The grounds are exquisite! There is so much to explore and capture. From the unique historic architecture to gardens and forest paths, the Omni is truly a stunning wedding venue. It has an interesting history involving several United States Presidents, 5 restaurants on-site, the most incredible spa (and bathing ritual), 18 hole golf course, indoor and outdoor pools, 25 miles of hiking trails, and many seasonal activity offerings (from archery to horseback riding)
2. It’s a one-stop-shop
The Omni Bedford Springs Resort has its own salon and spa (perfect for getting ready). It has several options for ceremony sites (indoors and outdoors). The Omni also offers several ballrooms (for any size gathering) and even drool-worthy honeymoon suites!
You could also easily host your rehearsal dinner there, and it would be delicious. Here is one of the ceremony locations, the wedding grotto. The incredible greenery is only one highlight. It also boasts a waterfall! Here Loren & Josh take a few moments alone in nature.
3. Top-Notch Guest Experience
The staff is incredible and client-focused– this is huge. Also, the food is incredible and everything is so uniquely appointed and in beautiful condition. There is so much to see and do on the grounds– multiple restaurants, a golf course, spa, hiking trails…
You and your loved ones can make a full wedding weekend out of it if you choose to do so! Here Andrea holds her parent’s hands before they head to the ceremony.
4. Start a Tradition
The Omni Bedford Springs is ideal for future re-visits. How incredible to get married somewhere and then visit again during key occasions? I know I’ve been there personally to celebrate my wedding anniversary with my husband, my birthday with my family and have gone there several times with friends for a girls’ getaway.
There are so many activities and they are always changing, so we’ve roasted marshmallows, enjoyed drinks at the cabana bar, hiked, enjoyed golfing and spa treatments, enjoyed so many meals. I cannot overstress how amazing the food is at each of the 5 restaurants. Here Nicole stands in the Springs Eternal Spa overlooking the spa lawn on her way to the wedding ceremony.
5. Lovely options for ALL Weather
If it rains, snows, is unseasonably warm, or if you are called indoors for any reason at all, no problem! The Omni Bedford Springs is beautiful (and expansive) inside, too with plenty of windows, natural light, and interesting architectural details. Here Kate & Joe get cozy inside the resort.
Omni Bedford Springs Sample Album
Below is a sample album I created for the Omni Bedford Springs Resort. It is a compilation of several recent weddings I have photographed there. At the bottom of this post, I’ll also link to a few of the blogs from weddings I have photographed at the Omni in Bedford Springs, Pennsylvania.
(If you are viewing this one on your phone, I’d suggest turning it horizontally to view this album) 😉
