Jordan and Bethany’s SteelStacks at ArtsQuest Center wedding after-session had major Hollywood vibes (to match their Hollywood Inspired wedding). We started out by striking Vogue-style poses, and ended with a full-on stage performance of “Shallow” (yes, the Lady Gaga/Bradly Cooper song), and had so much fun in between. More here:
Why Rhinehart Photography?
Jordan shares, “I am a photographer who very much appreciates a well-composed photo, attention to lighting, and good post-production. I wanted what I called the ‘mantlepiece photo‘ which is a photo that has had a lot of time and detail that we can blow up and put on the fireplace.”
He continues, “I had a hard time trusting someone other than myself to have attention to detail enough to do this and in Lisa, I found someone I could relate to.”
It’s always an honor to photograph a fellow photographer! I don’t know about you, but I’d love a shot like the one above displayed in my living room :). The rest of these stories are both portraits and tell their unique story, too. The slow-shutter on this photo has my heart for sure...
Why Steel Stacks?
Bethany shares, “We love the SteelStacks as it is a unique backdrop to create our own vision in. Jordan also met my parents for the first time seeing a band at the SteelStacks.”
So cool that you can see it reflected in the background. I really played up the dramatic black and white contrast, rust, and blue throughout the session. I love that these two could be cracking up one moment and striking a pose the next! Blue Steel:
Why an After-Session?
They share, “We really wanted to do something creative in a creative space. It was important to us that we did photos after the wedding so that we didn’t have to worry about doing other things that day. The photography was very important to us and we wanted to make sure that we gave it the time and energy that was necessary to really allow Lisa to express the full extent of her vision.”

Bethany shares, “I love Jordan’s sense of humor, his charisma, and his passion!”
Jordan smiles, “I love Bethany’s creativity and her drive for success. I could see that we both had the same values and passion!”

SteelStacks Wedding After-Session
Jordan & Bethany share, “The best part of the after-session was the ability to focus only on the photography. At that point, it didn’t matter if the dress got a little messed up or the suit got a little smudged. It allowed us to focus on getting the best photographs that we would have for the rest of our lives.”
