Why Rhinehart Photography?
Annie shares, “We chose you as our photographer for our engagement, wedding, and now Charlotte’s 1st birthday photos because of your ability to capture such natural photos.”
She adds, ” You created our photography schedule with the room we needed to allow Charlotte to be herself, and take time/space when she needed it! Your photojournalistic style worked perfectly for our family because you really kept things moving and went with the flow.”
Annie continues, “We are really hoping that the photos capture Charlotte’s energy and joie de vivre because she’s such a fun and funny little girl. We hired you for a third time because we loved our engagement and wedding photos and it only seemed right/natural to hire you to capture this stage of our lives as well.”
Photojournalism by a New Cumberland Family Photographer
I certainly take the time to photograph traditional family portraits throughout the session, but much of what I do with families is photojournalism. What I mean by that is that we just let life unfold as it does and capture those authentic moments. In this case I’m talking about little sticky fingers picking up bites of egg.
New Cumberland Family Photography
Annie shares, “We moved to New Cumberland in 2020, so peak pandemic and we moved there really because we wanted some more space and land (hence the big backyard!) but also wanted to stay close to Harrisburg city. We really love the older homes in the neighborhood-it has a lot of character.”
Dennis smiles, “We moved to New Cumberland so Helgi (the little terrier) would have a big backyard. Everything else followed!”
Bathtime by a New Cumberland Family Photographer
Annie says, “We normally work as a team for bath time, bedtime, etc. It definitely took some doing to get her on a schedule but overall I think that it’s worth it!”
Bedtime with New Cumberland Family Photographer
Annie smiles, “Our favorite part is reading her a book at the end of the day and cuddling with her before we lie her down for the night.”

Annie shares, “I feel like this photojournalism style worked well for Charlotte because at just 1 year old (we literally took the photos on the exact date of her 1st birthday!) it’s hard to sit still for photo after photo. I think it makes more sense to keep things moving and natural and organic.
She laughed, “Lisa was very good when she had occasional outbursts etc! Sometimes 1 year olds just need a little time/space!”
