Emily & Ben’s hiking after-session was straight out of a fairytale & made me so happy to be a Watkins Glen Wedding Photographer!!
Why Rhinehart Photography?
Emily shares, “Lisa is all about catching those intimate moments and the scenery, too. Each picture has so much life in it. I love the sense of adventure and the different angles that she is able to find!”
Hiking and Travel
Emily says, “We wanted something outdoorsy and beautiful to lean into our love of hiking/camping/exploring! We saw pictures that Lisa had from a recent trip to Watkins Glen and after looking at one picture for one second, we were immediately sold!”
She continues, “Honestly, we couldn’t have been happier with the location because literally every step there was absolutely another beautiful shot just waiting to be taken!”
Embracing the Mud and Adventuring!
Emily laughs, “We wanted to really hone in on the nature/outdoorsy vibe! Unfortunately/fortunately, it was very wet and muddy… but all that did was allow us to have a special unique nature touch aka the mud and the mess!”
A Few Traditional Photos, Mostly Moments
An After Session is a photography session for the bride and groom, after the wedding day that captures the couple’s romantic images. It allows more time, flexibility, and creativity for beautiful photos you might not have had time for on the wedding day. Plus we can go anywhere– literally!
While we did capture a few traditional portraits like this too, we mostly captured all those unique, creative, authentic moments and the incredible scenery! One of their big goals was to get images to use as canvas wall art, so I definitely had my eye out for those!
Creative Wedding Photographer
I love finding interesting angles and unique lighting and perspectives to capture my couples! I’m always challenging myself and pushing myself outside of the box. In this case it was an overhead perspective, with a slow shutter speed and moving couple. 😉
In photo at the end of this group, I was playing up the blue tones in the daylight and silhouetting the couple.
Watkins Glen Wedding Photographer
Emily says, “We really wanted some special moments captured that were unique, beautiful, and unforgettable. Lisa did just that!”
She adds, “I loved that we were truly exploring Watkins Glen for the first time because that is very reflective of what we love to do! We are excited to see some prints blown up for wall art!”
(Water)Falling in Love
Emily smiles, “We met at work and really just had an immediate connection. We both lean into each other’s adventurous side. We are always getting into something, whether it’s each other’s hobbies or something completely new that we’ve picked up together. I love that we can be ourselves and explore the world!”

As grandmother of the bride I appreciate the pictures of my only grandchild’s special day, and honeymoon. The wedding was a memorable occasion and Lisa captured the essence of it all so I can relive and enjoy it whenever I wish.
