The perfect picnic, kiddos that are *the result of a wedding and engagement I photographed* and a family of baby squirrels following me around like I’m Snow White– I love being a Lehigh Valley Family Photographer!
I photographed Jenn and TK’s wedding, then Jenn’s brother, Chris’s (and Frankie’s) wedding, and now I’m topping it off with a session of the whole family (grandparents and Jen and TK’s kiddos, too!)! It is such a pleasure to watch this beautiful family grow and be there to capture their important memories!
Why Rhinehart Photography?
Chris shares, “We’ve loved working with Lisa for now, 3 weddings, 2 engagement shoots, and a family shoot! Lisa’s ability to capture reflections and movement was key as to why we picked our location at a park with water features and having a 2-year-old running around!
He continues, “This photo shoot was special to me because I purchased the session as a gift for my mom for Christmas. She was shocked, she cried, and said ‘at least I know these photos are going to be stellar!‘”
Getting Squirrely: 3 baby squirrels followed me!
People used to call me Snow White in high school. Part of it was my dark hair, fair skin, and cheerful demeanor… But also animals loved me! They often follow me around and this was extreme!
Chris laughs, “Perhaps the best part of the photoshoot was the family of squirrels that decided to join us our family our photoshoot! 3 baby squirrels found their way to Lisa and she became their new obsession, climbing all over her photo gear and almost down her shirt!”
He adds, “Through it all Lisa was able to capture our surprise perfectly (and the squirrels at the same time!). She rolled with the punches and didn’t let it get in the way of our shoot, and made it a part of our memories forever!”
These squirrels just got *more comfortable* as time went on, stay tuned!
The Perfect Picnic
I just loved their aesthetic and vibe at this session! Everything went so well together.
Chris says, “We were looking for a modern take on traditional family vibes. We wanted to gently match, while also letting us have our own personality shine. We ended up hiring a fancy picnic company and picking up a charcuterie board to nibble on– we’ve actually never sat down for a picnic, so this was a nice excuse to actually do that!”
Rose Garden in Lehigh Valley
Chris smiles, “The Rose Gardens have always been magical to us, they’ve evolved over the years and we’ve watched them grow and bloom just like our family! The day we had our family shoot, tons of other families and graduates were also using the space for photos! The park provided us the perfect opportunity to run out some energy and find some nooks and crannies to have private moments.”
The Gang’s All Here
Chris shares, “We’re a quickly growing family and I love watching us evolve. What started out as a strong duo of my mom and dad (growing up in a big Italian family it really wasn’t ever ‘just them’) – quickly became a bit louder when I was born. I gave my family quite a scare with a few health concerns early on but nowadays they just say I was being dramatic (nothing has changed, I’m still dramatic). Our family of four leveled out when my sister was born. She was much more down to earth and held us together.”
He continues, “Fast forward, I met my husband Frankie first (10 years ago now!). Lisa photographed our wedding which was STELLAR, you should see the rainbow fans we carried! My sister met her husband TK, shout out to my sister for actually finding Lisa first! Her photos in Hershey PA were what had us hooked! Finally, my sister gave us not one but two amazing additions to the family– Kyson and Joelle, and these two bubbles of joy keep us all running around, and if you think I’m dramatic, you should meet my nephew Kyson, he’s a gem!”
I have loved watching this family grow over the years and capture their important memories. I love being a Lehigh Valley Family Photographer!
