Why Rhinehart Photography?

Kate shares, “We chose Lisa to be our photographer because of her creativity, unique use of spaces and light. We also share a mutual love and appreciation for Bedford Springs and its historic architecture! Some of Jake and my favorite photographs integrate natural beauty, landscape and vibrant colors.”

Kate adds, “We really wanted to draw upon the natural beauty of the venue and do it the justice we feel it deserves. Lisa seemed to be the perfect person to do just that, in a way that would result in timeless portraits that we can display in our home.”

It’s all About Balance!

Kate laughs, “Jake would say I fell in love with him because of his good looks! But we both agree that we balance one another. Jake tends to be more risk-taking and adventurous, while I am more intentional and serious. We both draw on those strengths from each other from time to time.”

I loved watching them make each other laugh and seeing their fun and quirky sense of humor!

Authentic Emotion & Unique Perspectives

I noticed Kate and Jake’s sense of humor and the way their personalities matched so well together! Jake was always joking around and being spontaneous, making Kate laugh. I really tried to focus on their personalities and sense of humor and capture that in the shoot as well as the gorgeous background of the Omni.

Kate smiles, “Bedford Springs has become a staple in our yearly travels. Jake introduced me to it a few years back and now we make it a point to go at least once- sometimes a few times- per year! We love to visit during different seasons, however, summertime has been our favorite. That’s why we were so excited to be able to capture photos there with Lisa for the 4th of July! We love the history of Bedford, especially at the Springs. While on a tour, we learned that historically, young well-to-do couples would spend their summers there courting, so sweet.”

Getting creative like this is one of my favorite aspects of photography!

Kate shares, “We wanted to go for something that would withstand time. We hope to make portraits a yearly tradition of ours to look back on throughout the years.”

I love Omni’s spa lawn, and know that they do too, so I used that as a focal point while also drawing the majority of the focus to them. I placed their white attire against the green lawn and love how they ‘pop” here.

What a romantic setting and what a treat to be an Omni Bedford Springs Engagement Photographer!
