Fire & ice, architecture & artistry, and so much fun– Shaun and Patton, you are *the best* and make me even more proud to be a Philadelphia LGBTQ Wedding Photographer!

Why Rhinehart Photography as your LGBTQ Philadelphia Wedding Photographer?
Shaun and Patton share, “We are attracted to energy and you showed a care and compassion that really resonated with us. Additionally, your work speaks for itself. Your infectious energy coupled with your creativity and unconventional thinking allowed us to visit your world which made it that much more inspiring.”
They continue, “We especially are drawn to your professionalism, deep appreciation for diversity, and the thought you put into your craft makes you the perfect photographer to capture our most vulnerable and intimate moments. All this to say, we trust you wholeheartedly.”
Awww guys!!! Thank you so much for your kind words and those incredible tacos– so very excited for your big day!!
Philadelphia’s City Hall: Wait are we in Paris?
I really felt like we were in Paris here but I love being a Philadelphia LGBTQ wedding photographer!
Fire & Ice: Meet Shaun & Patton
Shaun smiles, “We first fell in love with each other through mutual love for our relationships with family and friends while also remaining committed to growing within our careers and professions. Some similarities we both share are that we are driven, love dogs, and have a deep appreciation for different culinary experiences and cultures.”
He continues, “I love Patton’s drive for success, sense of self and family, laughter, sense of humor, and style.”
Patton shares, “What do I love most about Shaun? He’s really caring, compassionate, and super intelligent. He is so organized and loves deeply.”
Fun at Dillworth Park and Philadelphia’s City Hall: Philadelphia LGBTQ Wedding Photographer
Patton shares, “We chose Philadelphia as part of our engagement shoot to express our gratitude and love for the City of Brotherly Love. I was raised in Philadelphia and Shaun currently works there. Our families and professional lives are woven and intertwined with this great city so honoring this through our engagement shoot makes the most sense. Did we mention also that we got engaged in Philadelphia? That is how important this city is to us!”
Coming this October: Fire & Ice!
Shaun says, “We wanted to provide a sense of practicality with subtle hints towards our theme, Fire and Ice. As such, we coordinated outfits that most describe who we are. In addition, we wanted to pay homage to Philadelphia since that is where we got engaged. Perhaps even where we first found out that we truly ‘love’ each other.”
Peace Out: Independence Hall & Coffee
I totally loved the Peace Dove and that you could see Independence Hall right out of the window here! These shots were so fun. I loved playing with the reflections in the windows! Yes, Colombe Coffee!
Philadelphia LGBTQ Wedding Photographer!
Shaun and Patton share, “In such a polarizing environment, one of our biggest fears is finding vendors that would not support gay couples. Wedding planning is stressful and vulnerable enough. To add on this additional layer of complication regarding rejection because of who we are is a risk we were most nervous about. The ease and comfort Lisa has provided to us not only is a testament to human nature but it is restorative and indicative of trust in the fact that there are people who truly accept us for who and all that we are.”
I am so so sorry that you have felt stressed about fears of wedding vendors who do not support gay couples. I accept and celebrate you and feel so privileged to be working with the two of you and have you both open up and be your authentic selves with me and share your whole vision. Anyone who can’t see what incredible humans you must be blind, friends!!
