💕💍🌸 This playful couple’s love is in full bloom— I has so much fun exploring the city together & being a creative Annapolis engagement photographer!
Why Rhinehart Photography?
Anna shares, “We chose you because we absolutely love your work! I have been following Lisa’s work when she first started Rhinehart Photorgaphy! I always knew that I wanted her to photograph my wedding. Lisa was the first vendor we reached out to. We were willing to do anything in our power to make this happen! We have zero buyer’s remorse, this was a worthwhile investment and a decision we would make over and over again!!”
She continues, “Spending time with Lisa on the day of our engagement photos was so much fun. We got to walk to many of our favorite spots in Annapolis and experience downtown as we love it. I love that our photos capture our love for each other and the friendship and laughter that we share. These photos authentically capture our relationship, they are not simply cookie-cutter imaged staged to look happy, pensive, etc.”
Why Each Other?
Mitchell smiles, “I fell for Anna because of her beauty inside and out. She is a person everyone can look up to. Anna brings out the best in people and she ain’t so bad herself either, haha! She is kind, caring, honest, smart, funny, and loving. The thing I love the most about her is how she is unwilling to give up on the things she cares about. If she has a dream she is going to make it happen with hard work and a wonderful plan. We work well together because we communicate well. We’ll talk out the good and the bad and try to get to a place where we can move forward together. We also work well together because we are in awe of each other. The two of us think the other is the coolest person we have ever met and that helps keep us connected and on each other’s team.”
Anna says, “I fell for Mitchell because of his fun personality and all of the deep conversations we could have so easily. I love his brain, haha- the way he thinks, solves problems, his quick wit, and cares for others. His looks don’t hurt!! We work together because of the way we balance each other. We are partners and supporters of each other, we aren’t in competition. Our strengths complement one another. I tend to be more of an organized planner, Mitch tends to be more free-spirited and spontaneous. We bring out those sides in each other and life seems to be able to roll smoothly while we also have lots of fun.”
Their Old Apartment
Anna shares, “We loooove our old apartment!! Our apartment is on Duke of Gloucester St, which is just a fun name– Very official, very old. I hope our kids someday get to live in a place half as cool. It felt like a dream come true and we never took it for granted. I especially loved ordering my Starbucks from the apartment, and by the time I walked down the street, it was ready. Mitch and I went for countless walks around and met lots of visitors coming in from the water.”
The Proposal
Anna laughs, “Mitch is a silly goose, which really came through in those photos. We try not to take ourselves too seriously which gives room for lots of silly moments and laughter. Neither of us is afraid to show true emotion either!”
Silly Shenanigans
I love how I was able to capture many different sides of Anna & Mitchell during their engagement session… From silly shenanigans to sweeter moments, I captured it all as their creative Annapolis engagement photographer!
Anna shares, “This is very reminiscent of our relationship. Lots of laughter and fun, we also actually sing together a lot lol. But then there’s also this deep connection and safe place for both of us to come home to, to settle into, to really see each other. I love the way the photos capture both.”
She adds, “When we met I felt like we were just a couple of kids. I was 24, he was 26. We are still young, but even as we get older, I hope we always feel like kids and bring that out in each other. We can’t wait to be parents and get on the floor and play, go for hikes, walk downtown Annapolis, laugh, sing, roll down hills. We will have to do the whole ‘parenting’ thing too, but we can’t wait to have fun with our kids. Plus, I hear Mitch is a really good soccer coach. :)”
Exploring Annapolis
Anna shares, “We lived in Annapolis for about a year and a half together and made so many fun memories. We loved our time living downtown and spent many, many hours walking the streets of downtown, West Annapolis, and Eastport. We got to walk over to the capital and all through downtown and over the Eastport bridge which brought back lots of memories. Annapolis means the city of Anna, so we always joke about that.”
She continues, “I remember as a kid seeing Annapolis on a map and thinking it was cool that my name was in the city! I moved there by myself for about 6 months before Mitch moved in with me, so the location also holds a feeling of independence and accomplishment that I had on my own, before being able to share it with my love. That tiny apartment held a lot of love and prepared us for purchasing our first home in Pasadena.”
