Meet newlyweds, Robert and Jeanne, as they re-visit their wedding venue, this time with their baby and pup in tow– I love being a Stone Harbor Family Photographer! It was a really special treat working with these two again, what an honor to be able to watch their families grow!
Why Rhinehart Photography?
Robert and Jeanne smile, “We love how vibrant Lisa’s photos are and how she is able to capture so many great candid shots! We looked into so many photographers and Rhinehart Photography stood out, by far. Lisa’s photos literally seem to pop off of the screen!”
Robert laughs, “One of the moments that comes to mind immediately was during the wedding, when my brother/best man accidentally dropped the rings! Not only was the moment caught, but my mother’s hilarious facial reaction as well, ha-ha!” The emotions and moments captured on our wedding day were so incredible. We knew you would be perfect at capturing us with little Robbie!”
They came in trusting me, ready to be themselves and just enjoy the evening together and I think it really shows!
Why The Reeds at Shelter Haven?
Robert shares, “Our family loves spending time ‘down the shore’! When we are all free in the spring and summer, we can be found on 95th Street beach! Stone Harbor is our favorite little town. I hope one day to be able to move there, we just love it so much!”
Jeanne says, “Stone Harbor has been our beach of choice since we began going in 2021. We would always see people dressed up coming in and out of the Reeds. When we looked for venues, we immediately fell in love with the Reeds. They did such an amazing job with our wedding and we had so many guests tell us it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to. It was a no-brainer to go back there and recreate a few wedding images, but this time with our puppy and new baby in tow!”
Rob adds, “It was such an awesome feeling being back at the Reeds with our son! We had such a good time being back there! Hopefully, the next time we go back there with him, he will be eating some of their awesome food with us!
Shiny Jeep & Beach-Ready Pup & Baby!
Rob smiles, “JEEP life is the best! I can’t wait until Robbie is old enough to enjoy summers ‘down the shore’ with the doors off! He already loves it when the top is down and the ocean breeze is blowing on him haha!”
Jeanne laughs, “The jeep is like another kid, haha. Of course, the Jeep was shined up before the shoot, this is Rob we are talking about, haha!”
This Jeep was so shiny I was able to catch reflections in it!
Recreating Wedding Photos
I thought it would be so fun to recreate some of their romantic wedding portraits since we were in the same place!
Jeanne and Robert say, “Re-creating some wedding photos was a great idea and so cool! We can’t wait to see them!”
Let’s Play Fetch!
Robert smiles, “Vegas, like us, absolutely loves the beach! She loves sprinting through the sand and jumping in the water! Puppies are only allowed in the off-season so we try to bring her there as often as we can when we are able to! The only thing she loves more than the beach is belly rubs and giving kisses!
Family Fun
Rob says, “Our son decided he didn’t want to wait for summer to enter the world, so we met him weeks earlier than expected. Once he was big enough to come home, we were already counting down the days until we could take him down the shore! It was so awesome taking him to the beach for the first time, and then putting his toes in the water for the first time, on 95th Street beach, of course! We had a lot of fun with him and the other kids at the beach during the summer and we can’t wait until next summer when he will be playing in the sand!”
Jeanne adds, “Vegas loves Robbie and is always giving him kisses. He just cracks up about it now.”Â
Rob continues, “Having our shoot here with our son and puppy was a no-brainer! It was so awesome being back there after our awesome winter wedding!”

Rob smiles, “This was our first shoot as a family, the process was so fun! We are so happy we were able to get both the baby and puppy to cooperate! We can not wait to see all of the photos!”
Seeing Eachother as New Parents
Jeanne smiles, “I love seeing Rob hold him and how they smile at each other. He is a great father.”
She continues, “Rob is such a gentleman. Even after all of these years, he still holds the door, pulls out chairs, makes me walk on the inside of the sidewalk (not next to the road), etc. Watching him become a father has made me fall even more in love with him. He is such an amazing dad to Robbie and you can tell that he is completely wrapped around his little finger. It is adorable.”Â
Rob smiles, “Jeanne is the whole package! She is smart, funny, caring and kind. She made me fall for her as soon as we met! It also doesn’t hurt that she is beautiful and a total smoke-show! She is such a great mother and I love her dearly for it.”
Making time for Play!!
Robert and Jeanne are so playful and have so much fun together! I loved seeing them splashing in the water, playing with their dog Vegas, and even getting in the water!
Robert says, “We both work a lot so we try to have as much fun as possible when we are able to spend time together. We often find ourselves hanging out until 1 or 2 am even if one of us has to be up at 5 am. We just don’t want the fun to end!”
He continues, “Since it was a brisk September evening at the shore, I knew Jeanne was nervous to get wet and be cold from the ocean. Thankfully, the ocean water is warmer than the air in September, so I had no problem getting her in the water, haha!”
Rob adds, “It was so much fun splashing around in the ocean like kids on summer break. It was awesome to have Vegas get involved too! I can’t wait until Robbie gets to join in on the fun!”
Jeanne smiles, “Vegas absolutely loves the beach and we were surprised she actually went into the water this time!”
At the end of the night
Robert recalls, “The sunset was so perfect! Unfortunately, with the rain on our wedding day, we weren’t able to have the ‘perfect sunset photo’ we had planned for. This was the sunset we had hoped for. Fortunately, we were able to share this beautiful sunset as a family with our little guy (and puppy!)!”
Jeanne smiles, “It was very surreal revisiting our wedding venue with the baby in tow. I felt overcome with so many emotions and felt so happy and grateful that we were able to bring him back for pictures.”Â
