Colorful, artistic and classic, with a ton of fun on the dance floor: Stephanie & JP’s wedding day at The Bond, Yorktown Hotel and the Royal Square Murals made me incredibly grateful to be The Bond Wedding Photographer!
Why Rhinehart Photography?
Stephanie shares, “Lisa allows you to relive authentic moments. Her photography is artistic, it’s not overly posed or cliché. Investing in her photography is absolutely worth it, because you have these moments captured for a lifetime. Seeing these moments through Lisa’s eye, makes them appear even more beautiful than we remembered. She’ll make you feel beautiful even if you don’t love being in front of the camera!”
Yorktowne Hotel Wedding Preparations
Stephanie says, “I’ve always loved the Yorketown Hotel and also been drawn to classic, timeless looks, which steered me toward my choices in attire. My husband and I based our decisions for our wedding on what fit us best and what would be enjoyable for us and our guests.”
Yorktowne Hotel First Look
JP says, “We both, through many coincidences, ended up living in the same apartment building in York City. If you had told either of us this even a few years ago, we would have never believed life would have brought us together in this way.”
Stephanie shares, “We met as friends, developed that bond, and it carried us through an unimaginable situation. Our wedding was an opportunity to celebrate some of the healing we’ve worked so hard on and was also a major thank you to everyone who has been by our side through it all. We know that whatever may come, we will be able to face it together.”
Their first look was incredible, I love Steph’s stunned body language, how handsome JP looks in his suit and the classic elegance of the Yorktown Hotel.
Getting Creative: Royal Square Murals
Stephanie smiles, “It was amazing to be able to capture the many hand-painted Royal Square Murals in our city as part of our day and embrace spaces we spend time regularly including the Yorktowne Hotel and downtown York City.”
The Bond Wedding Photographer: Outdoor Ceremony
Stephanie says, “Our wedding venue reflected our blended aesthetic of industrial and classic in the city in which we live. We also were able to have a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception with The Bond. It was important to me to avoid the dreaded grass-heel issues for myself and our guests. No shoes were harmed in the process of our wedding (haha)!”
She smiles, “Having my sister officiate our wedding was not only very meaningful to us, as she has always been a major supporter of our relationship, but we knew she would do an excellent job, which she did!”
The New Mr & Mrs
I love how Steph and JP gave me total creative freedom with capturing their day! I love the classic elegance, and leaned into photojournalism surrounding them with their loved ones and even showing off chandeliers and applause in the shadows as well.
The Bond Wedding Photographer: Let’s Celebrate!
JP recalls, “We avoided some of the typical wedding traditions that didn’t fit us as a couple and instead focused on time to have fun, dance, and interact with our wedding guests.”
Everyone had such a blast, I loved capturing so many fantastic moments on the dance floor:
