🦋🐾✨A butterfly release, the sweetest little white dog, a sparkler send-off and one of the prettiest and romantic (all pastel) weddings– I’m so proud to be a Cameron Estate Inn Wedding Photographer!
Why Rhinehart Photography?
I (Lisa) book up quickly, and in Caitlyn’s case, someone booked her date minutes before she did… I am still *so sad* that I wasn’t able to be her photographer on the day of. But for weddings that I’d love to cover but no longer have the date open on my calendar, I have a solution 🙂.
I have a few trusted photographer friends who work under me on the day of to be my eyes and ears, and then I do the rest (the editing, album design, emails, wedding day timeline etc). In this case, my associate was Jim– one of my long-time photography friends that I met at a conference over a decade ago. We have shot dozens of weddings together at this point.
Caitlyn shares, “When I was looking for a wedding photographer, Lisa was high on my list as she was the wedding photographer for two family friends’ weddings. For one of the weddings, I was a bridesmaid, and I was able to see Lisa in action. I liked a lot of the poses and the pictures from that wedding. After we met with Lisa, we were set on having her as our photographer! Unfortunately, another couple ended up booking with Lisa just moments before we did. Since Lisa books up quickly, she has other photographers to help out in these situations. Enter our photographer, Jim!”
She continues, “At first I was really upset to not have Lisa shooting our wedding, but Jim was amazing! After reviewing some of his work, I knew we were in good hands! We met with Jim a couple of times before the wedding, and I felt completely confident that we were going to have great photos! Jim and Kelly, our second photographer, were on it during the day. They made sure to capture all the important moments, fun moments, and everything in between! At one point after the ceremony, a butterfly landed on my bouquet, and Kelly was there to capture the shot. Every time I saw one of them, they were taking pictures. Jim was very easy to work with and was down to do whatever. I’m very excited to see all of the photos! I think Jim got a lot of great shots!”
Caitlyn adds, “Even though Lisa wasn’t our wedding photographer, she still did everything else. She did our engagement session, edited our photos, scheduled meetings, created the photography timeline, and is designing our album. So even if you can’t get Lisa herself taking your wedding photos, you still get her for everything else, and you will still have a talented and amazing photographer, like Jim!“
The Little Things: Cameron Estate Inn Wedding Photographer
Caitlyn says, “I knew when I got married, purple would be one of the colors for my wedding. Most of the purple I wanted to be a pastel purple because that felt more springy. I decided on a pastel blue as an accent color because I thought they looked good together, but it wouldn’t overpower the purple. The guys wore light blue ties to incorporate the blue, and I liked the idea of the girls and guys wearing a different color. I was going for a fairytale aesthetic, and it felt like a fairytale all day.”
First Look with Dad: Cameron Estate Inn Wedding Photographer
Caitlyn says, “When I was first planning the wedding, I didn’t want to have a first look with Mason, but I still wanted to have some type of first look. I thought a first look with my dad would be perfect! It was a great way for him to see for the first time, without a large audience in case we got emotional.”
The Gentlemen
Mason shares, “All of the groomsmen were past or present coworkers who became friends. They were supportive, said I looked good, and did anything they could to help.”
First Look: Cameron Estate Inn Wedding Photographers
Caitlyn says, “Our first look was kind of a last-minute change. We didn’t decide to do a first look until a couple of months before the wedding. For the longest time, I wanted the first time Mason saw me to be when I was walking down the aisle. Throughout the planning, I started feeling like I wanted to be able to eat the food I picked at cocktail hour and talk to people then. I felt like if we talked to people at cocktail hour, then there would be more time for dancing. Also, I knew we were going to be nervous, so I felt like a first look would help calm our nerves.”
She continues, “We were excited to see each other! I felt like the first look gave us a chance to really look at each other in our wedding attire, and I was really excited for Mason to see my dress!”
Caitlyn shares, “Mason and I met on the dating app Bumble. I never would have thought swiping right on a guy would end up with us getting married. Our wedding date, May 25, 2025, was actually the 6-year anniversary of our first date! Our first date is where our mini golf competition began.”
Creative and Traditional Wedding Photographer
While our focus is colorful, creative, custom-tailored photography, we also make sure to get flattering, well-composed, and lit photos of each couple in addition to those creative images, too.
Cameron Estate Inn Wedding Photographer Outdoor Ceremony
Caitlyn shares, “We both fell in love with Cameron Estate Inn the first time we saw it! We toured many venues, but we knew none of them would top Cameron Estate Inn for us. We both wanted to have some type of water at our venue, and CEI had a beautiful pond and creek. Our original plan was to get married in the Spring Garden, which we did, but they had a beautiful indoor location in case of rain. They were the only venue I knew I wouldn’t be as upset if the wedding needed to be moved indoors. I was really just excited to experience the whole day and finally be married! So much time went into planning, and I was ready to see everything come together!”
She smiles, “Mason and I both wanted an outdoor ceremony. We really liked the garden and pond around the ceremony spot. It just felt peaceful! Mason was very worried about it being too hot, but it ended up being the perfect day! We always wanted to include our dog, Mia, in all of the wedding things. She’s such an important part of our lives that we couldn’t imagine not having her as part of our wedding day. She might not remember it, but we’ll always have those special memories of her.”
Caitlyn adds, “Mason and I feel we were both more emotional seeing each other at the start of the ceremony than during our first look. We both admitted we got teary-eyed at the ceremony. So for us, even though we did a first look, our first look walking down the aisle was just as special!”
Two Photographers, Two Perspectives
Caitlyn says, “From the beginning, I knew that I wanted two photographers. I feel like more of the day can be captured with two people instead of just one person. I mentioned this earlier, but after the ceremony, Jim was taking family photos with Mason, and while that was happening, Kelly was able to get shots of me holding my bouquet with a butterfly that had landed on it. It’s those kinds of pictures that I didn’t want to miss out on by only having one photographer. While Jim was capturing the main moments, Kelly was capturing all the other moments with our guests and behind-the-scenes shots.”
Butterfly Release: Creative Wedding Photographers
Caitlyn smiles, “Like our first look, the butterfly release was a last-minute addition. I wanted a way to incorporate the loved ones that we have lost into our wedding day. My grandma always said that butterflies were loved ones coming back to visit you, so a butterfly release seemed perfect! Unfortunately, it ended up a little too cool for the butterflies, so it didn’t go exactly as envisioned. The butterflies were from the Butterfly Release Company. They provided the box for the butterflies as well.”
Kiss the Bride! Cameron Estate Inn Wedding Photographer
Caitlyn recalls, “We were both excited to finally be married. Mason was super nervous to be standing in front of so many people, so he was also relieved that it was over. We were excited and ready to celebrate our marriage with our friends and family! We were happy the ceremony went well!”
Cheers! It’s Official!
Congratulations to the Mr & Mrs!
Mason shares, “When I’m with Caitlyn, I feel special. No one else can make me smile like her. I fell for Caitlyn when I saw that she’s as beautiful inside as outside. She didn’t care if I had nothing but a dream, and in that moment, I knew she was the one. I loved experiencing how Caitlyn lit up the room on our wedding day, and loved experiencing the photobooth photos with our guests and seeing so many friends and family. I can picture us starting a family in the future.”
Caitlyn continues, “When I’m with Mason, I feel safe. No one else can make me laugh when I’m mad or upset like him. He always went out of his way to spend time with me, which made me fall in love with him. I knew he was the one when he was always there to support me in the good times and the bad times. Experiencing our private last dance together on our wedding day, and experiencing the joy, laughter, and dancing with our guests were some of my favorite things of the day. I can picture us doing the things we love, like playing mini golf and going to hockey games, with our kids in the future.”
Happy Family!
Caitlyn smiles, “We were so excited to see Mia after the ceremony! We really didn’t get to see her before the ceremony. She did such a good job during the ceremony, and we were so proud of her! I’m sure the pictures with her will be some of our favorites!”
I love it when couples include their dogs in their weddings! You can check out my tips for including dogs here 🙂
Let them Eat Cake! Cameron Estate Inn Wedding Photographer
Caitlyn says, “Mason’s best men and my matron and maid of honor gave great speeches/toasts. My sister was my maid of honor. She made it through about one sentence before she started crying. Once I saw her crying, I knew I was a goner. She was able to calm down and make it through the rest of her speech, and now we joke about her crying.”
She continues, “I had no idea Mason’s dad was going to join him and his mom during their dance. I don’t know if it was preplanned or not, but I thought it was a sweet moment for them. Mason is their only child, so it was a special moment for all of them.”
Caitlyn adds, “Our cake was beautiful and delicious! Sweet Confections Cakes did a wonderful job! They took my Pinterest inspiration and made it a reality. All the cake flavors were delicious!”
Partytime! Creative, Authentic, Wedding Photographer
Caitlyn smiles, “The photo booth was a huge hit! I’m so glad we decided to do it. I love all the photos of our guests that we got from it! Our favorites are the silly, goofy ones. For example, one of my friends used the ring prop to propose to his wife for one of the photos. There are so many great shots from the photo booth!”
She adds, “We had a blast on the dance floor with our friends and family. The foam glow sticks were a hit and made it so much more fun! Mason’s family was surprised by how much he was dancing and singing along with me. It was the best time!”
End of the Night Sparklers!
Caitlyn reminisces, “The sparkler send off was so fun! While that was getting set up, Mason and I were able to have a private last dance, which was so sweet. We were able to run through the sparklers multiple times, which made it even better! At the end of the night, we were tired and sad that it was over, but so happy that we were finally married!“
