She has a natural eye for design, effortlessly mixing and matching pieces to create something uniquely her own. Many of her favorite shops give back to charitable causes, perfectly aligning with her compassionate heart and future aspirations to become a social worker.”

Addison’s mom shares, “Addison finds joy in supporting small businesses and exploring local farmers’ markets, where variety and community come together. She loves strolling through the booths, meeting local vendors, and soaking in the warmth of the sunlight and the scent of fresh flowers and baked goods — simple pleasures that reflect her appreciation for life’s genuine, beautiful moments.”

Proud mom, Janelle, shares, “Addison’s athletic journey has been deeply meaningful, especially through her connection to shotput — a sport she discovered thanks to her brother, Landon. The two share a close bond, built on love, encouragement, and mutual respect. Landon’s passion for the sport inspired Addison to give it a try during her junior year of high school. With his support, she quickly fell in love with it too.”
She adds, “Addison has embraced the strength and discipline the sport requires. Training with a nationally ranked shotput coach and continually striving to set new personal records — both in the weight room and on the field. Her dedication, resilience, and quiet determination have fueled her growth as an athlete. This year, she’s excited to expand her skills and try discus as part of the track and field team, continuing to challenge herself and celebrate progress every step of the way.”

Fun fact: Addison is the President of the Photography Club at her high school! She loves taking pictures of sunsets, too.
Addison shares, “I want to capture sunsets because they are beautiful and it’s different every day. You never know what to expect at the end of the day. It also makes me think of how something so simple could be so unique to that day, and it makes my day better, too.”
