Photographing Tara and Tom through so many seasons of their life—first their engagement, then their wedding, and now their newborn session—has been such an incredible pleasure. It is such a joy seeing my couples start families of their own! Tara and Tom, I’m truly honored that you chose me once again as your Central PA Newborn Photographer to document this beautiful new chapter.

Why Return to Rhinehart Photography?
Tara shares, “Tom & I have worked with Lisa since our engagement, so when we found out we were expecting and wanted newborn family photos, it was a no-brainer. The whole process from start to finish was so calm, even with the chaos of a newborn baby and dogs in the mix. Lisa was able to suggest what shots would work best as we flowed in and around the house.”
Harley, Baby!
Tom smiles, “When Tara and I got married, Lisa was able to capture my father and I on our motorcycles, so we wanted to include them somehow in these photos as well. Riding motorcycles is a big part of my life, and when we found out the gender of our baby, Tara & I included a gender specific outfit to share the news with our friends and family. We couldn’t wait until the day we finally got to put our daughter in that very outfit.”
Happy Family!
Tara and Tom say, “From buying a home, to engagement, getting married, and now starting a family, everything feels like it happened the right way at the right time, and we are truly blessed. We are looking forward to reaching new milestones as we watch as daughter grow and possibly expanding our family in the future.”
Nursery Time!
Tara shares, “While I was pregnant, I would sit in the rocking chair and just try to imagine what life was going to be like — scared yet ready to take on one of life’s greatest challenges. Once our daughter was here, I once again started reflecting on it all, no longer as scared, but excited to watch her grow up within the space.
Tom adds, “When we first bought the house, the space was just a spare room. Over time, as we have been setting it all up. From painting to adding furniture and having quiet conversations with Tara about the ‘one day our kids will be here, and this will be their room‘ to now, it being a reality is amazing.”
Those Tiny Fingers and Toes!
They share, “Her tiny fingers and toes are adorable and cute, and it brings to light how precious and innocent a baby really is.
Tara adds, “Waking up every morning, I just look at all her features and have to pinch myself because we really did create something so amazing, and I cannot wait to see how much things will change over time.”
How Life has Changed…
Tara smiles, “Being responsible for raising someone who is a part of the next generation is hard, but rewarding at the same time. Tom and I reflect on how amazing it is at each new little milestone and imagine what it must feel like for her since she is truly experiencing everything for the first time.
She adds, “We also talk about what it’s going to be like showing her all the things we got to do as kids. All of the ‘first-time experiences’ are something we look forward to the most.”
Precious Freya
They both share, “Just within the last couple of months, Freya has started to smile and ‘talk‘ to us. We love being able to interact with her as she finds her voice. It’s crazy how much joy one little being can bring, especially when it’s your own daughter.”
“When it comes to our daughter’s name, Tom was the one who came up with it (Freya). He loved the history behind it, and unique it is.”
Tara adds, “I love the simplicity of it myself, but again, how unique it was at the same time. Just to put it simply, Tom and I are forever grateful that Lisa has been able to tell ‘our story’ through photos.”
