Getting Personal...
Nature lover
I feel most myself and most alive, grounded & inspired in nature.
I once swam with a whale shark in 1,000-foot deep waters, hiked in Antelope Canyon, co-piloted a biplane around the coast of Acadia, viewed a perfect full moon via telescope, explored the Grand Canyon, and love enjoying wild berries.
I memorized every curve of a looping stream and paddled it again and again until the world went pitch black. This has allowed me to comfortably kayak under starry skies, watching constellations ripple in the dark.
Creativity & PLay
I photograph, weave, paint, shape clay, sketch…
I enjoy live music, festivals, and often do the work hard, play hard thing. I also love rest, growing and displaying my flowers, taking a nap on my kayak, and reading books until they fall apart sometimes.
Lately, I’ve been spending time with my friends as they build the Firebird for the Phoenixville Firebird Festival. I have spent time as a volunteer building it’s nest and as the tailfeather of the “firebird’s ghost” in the parade, feeling the heat as it all burns and 10,000+ people watch.
